“How likely is my company to meet its corporate goals?”
Ironically, it’s one question that vexes CEOs, because they cannot get the information they need to answer it. While no CEO has a crystal ball, success depends upon having some way to predict how the company is tracking towards its corporate goals. Most of the data a CEO receives is backwards-looking, tactical information that doesn’t help them look towards the future. The answer is to have a process that lets them systematically collect the right type of information from across the organization.
